Don Esquivel has long been our secret weapon and undiscovered gem of Mexicos flourishing music scene. Coming from a multi-generational family of avocado farmers in the state of Michoacan, Don first moved to Guadalajara where he honed his production skills, and then to Mexico City where he has become a constant collaborated with Muy Muy and Por Detroit, two of the queer parties making noise in the underground warehouse scene.

House music has a rich history in the queer world, and this EP demonstrates the far reach of the legacy, influencing this EP from a queer producer from the rural countryside of Mexico. This EP, like Don, is rich, warm, and ready to party, whether that be at home or on some future dance floor.
